Selim  Senocak  founded  Senocak  Sapka  company  in  the  1920’s,  in  Ankara,  as  a  family  business.  Our  first  products  were  fur  hats  and  fezzes.  After  1925, we  started  the  production  of  clothes  along  with  the  hats.  Later  on, we  began  producing  officer  caps  which  were  brought  from  Germany. Once  Vural  Senocak  became  the  head  of  our  company, we  stated  producing  different  models  of  service  caps  along  with  uniform  hats  for  schools,  which  were  all, designed  by  our  company.

After  1960  and  after  we  have  been  the  best  company  in  terms  of  the  quality  of  the  products, our  firm  stayed  a  leading  hat  producer  and  it  expanded  into  producing  police  caps.  Today, as  the  numbers  of  our  numbers  of  our  models  approach  200, we  stay  a  successful  and  a  leading  firm  in  the  Turkish  hat  production  business. In  1982, we  established  Senocak  Sapka  Tekstil  ve  Konfeksiyon  Sanayii  Ticaret  Ltd. Şti.  In  Istanbul  and  since  then  we  continue  to  operate  our  production  there.

Our  mission  today  is  to  produce  goods, which  are  the  best  in  their  quality.  Our  exports  go  out  to  such  countries  as  France, England, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Russia  and  to  countries  in  West  Africa. Along  with  all  the  exports  that  we  do  to  the  above  mentioned  countries, we  also  import  some  hat  models  to  Turkey  and  successfully  distribute  them  at  the  domestic  markets.
